Carolyn P. Phu has been a Staff Auditor in the City Auditor's Office for the past two years. She has contributed to numerous audits including inventory audits of the Long Beach Museum of Art and the Queen Mary, Long Beach Development Services Cashiering Audit, and an audit of Proposition H funds for fiscal year 2008. Prior to working for the City Auditor's Office, she worked in public accounting where she gained experience in small business accounting and new business formations.
Carolyn is a graduate of the University of California, Irvine, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a minor in Educational Studies. She also earned an Associates degree in Accounting at Irvine Valley College. She is currently a member of the Association of Local Government Auditors (ALGA) and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
