James McFarland joined the Office of the City Auditor as an Audit Intern in November 2011. Prior to joining the Office, James worked at Cal Poly Low Income Taxpayer Clinic providing assistance to taxpayers involved in controversies with the Internal Revenue Service. He received an undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
