To protect your privacy, an independent, trained intake specialist who is not an employee of the City of Long Beach will receive your phone call or on-line report. This third party provider will immediately send your information to the City Auditor's office for appropriate action. Your privacy is important to us. We do not keep a record of your email address.
I am committed to ensuring that our City operates with the highest integrity. As a Certified Fraud Examiner, I know that fraud exists more than most people realize. Unfortunately, fraud, waste and abuse of City resources hurts everyone – it results in low morale, affects wage increases, and reduces funds for important city services such as public safety, libraries, street repairs, parks, the arts and more.
If you see or suspect fraudulent, illegal or unethical activity, don't ignore it! Please take a minute and report your suspicions to our Long Beach City Auditor Fraud Hotline.
The Long Beach City Auditor Fraud Hotline has been established for City employees, citizens and/or vendors to be able to report fraud easily and confidentially. The Fraud Hotline is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Calls are not recorded and a caller does not need to give his or her name. We are using a third party provider to receive your concerns so you can feel confident that your report can be made anonymously if you wish. Your call will be answered by a trained interviewer. Calls will not be recorded, and there is no record kept of the phone number from which you are calling.
Your report is immediately sent to the City Auditor's Office where we will review all reports and take appropriate action. At every step of this process you can be assured that your confidentiality will be protected.
